Este martes se registró un sismo de magnitud 6.6 en el sureste de Taiwán, lo cual quedó plasmado en diversos videos que circulan en redes sociales.
De acuerdo con The Jerusalem Post, este sismo fue el de mayor magnitud y tuvo una profundidad de 30.6 kilómetros, mientras que el otro fue a 19.3 kilómetros.
Sus epicentros se encontraron en el condado de Hualien.

El Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS por sus siglas en inglés) informó que el movimiento tectónico se clasificó como VI amarillo, en otras palabras, fue un temblor fuerte pero con daños leves.
Debido a esto no fue necesario activar la alerta por tsunami.
